"Logical, emotional appeals"

Let's be logical. Voting for Measure C will help to maintain your property value. Yes, that's true. People often choose to live in Davis because of our excellent school system. Once a school system starts downhill it's very hard to raise it up again, so by maintaining the school system, you're maintaining your property values.

Let's be emotional. Why should the children be punished because we don't like the way the adults are handling the finances? The more people there are who are well-educated, the more we all benefit. This is not limited by age. I'm a senior who's happy to vote for C and I'm not opting out of paying my share.
