Call for phone banking volunteers
No experience necessary. It's easy. It's fun. It's vital. We are not a big bucks campaign. We rely on old fashion person to person contact, and that means active volunteers. That means you.
There are still phones available for volunteers. We have over 6,000 households to call before voting by absentee ballots begins in October. We need your help and we would greatly appreciate your support for Davis students and essential programs. Times and dates are posted on our web calendar (click here).
Why is phone banking important? Your calls (script available) inform voters about a Measure that comes at the very end of one of the most complex ballots ever produced by the Secretary of State. We cannot afford people to vote on President, a couple of Propositions and drop their ballot. And most importantly the ID'ing of voters as "Yes, No, or Undecided" helps us target the precincts and households we must concentrate on with our walking and mail programs.
