47 volunteers needed on Election Day for Get-Out-To-Vote efforts (no experience necessary)
We need you diehard Measure W supporters to help bring our fair-weather fans to the polls. The goal of our operation is to make sure every identified supporter casts their ballots before 8pm, Tuesday. There are 47 places to vote and that means 47 volunteers needed. From as close to 5pm as you can manage until 7:45 at night, you will be checking polling places to make sure our identified supporters make it to the polls.
No experience necessary. We will feed you. Our interns will keep you entertained.
Please email me to sign-up: meltonkl@yahoo.com.
Once signed up you will receive specific instructions for Tuesday. If
you have signed up through a board member, there is no need to email me.
The party, election night, 8pm: [see Election Night Party]
Once
we turnout the vote, please join us for our election night party!
Beginning at 8pm we’ll watch the returns come in—together. If you’re
at all anxious about the results, I especially encourage you to join
our GOTV. It'll make you feel better.
Thanks to Peter and Heidy
Kellison for opening their house for us. I hear the home is
beautiful—I hope you’ll join me and find out.
This is it. The kids need us. Volunteer… then party.
