Mike and Judy Davis invite you to Measure W Garden Walk-About Fundraiser on Sunday, October 26
Mike and Judy Davis (UCD Plant Pathologist and former North Davis Elementary Principal) are looking forward to supporting Measure W and sharing what they have learned about home gardening at the same time. Please stop by on Sunday, October 26 to support Measure W.
Time: Sunday, October 26 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Place: Home of Mike and Judy Davis, 1801 Glenn Place (Near Emerson Junior High, just north of Westwood Park)
Learn about fall vegetable planting, berry vines, fruit trees, raised vegetable beds, drip irrigation, composting, greenhouses, food dehydration, solar cooking, raising chickens for egg production, and water harvesting in rain barrels.
Families might enjoy combining a visit to our garden with a visit to the Emerson school garden nearby. Docents will be available to explain the gardening program there. Westwood Park has wonderful play structures and tables for picnicking too.
$5 per adult, $2 per child, or $10 per family
