Discussion of Measure W on video
On September 18th, 2008, Davis Media Access (DMA) taped a discussion of Measure W.
47 volunteers needed on Election Day for Get-Out-To-Vote efforts (no experience necessary)
We need you diehard Measure W supporters to help bring our fair-weather fans to the polls. The goal of our operation is to make sure every identified supporter casts their ballots before 8pm, Tuesday. There are 47 places to vote and that means 47 volunteers needed. From as close to 5pm as you can manage until 7:45 at night, you will be checking polling places to make sure our identified supporters make it to the polls.
Help needed to walk and drop campaign literature in your neighborhood
Our hard work in September has narrowed our focus to a fraction of the households we began with. Absentee ballots will be mailed on Monday, October 6th. Voters will begin casting ballots thereafter. We must contact these absentee voters now. Preserving our school programs requires each of us in order to garner the 2/3rds vote Measure W needs.
Call for phone banking volunteers
No experience necessary. It's easy. It's fun. It's vital. We are not a big bucks campaign. We rely on old fashion person to person contact, and that means active volunteers. That means you.
Breaking News: UCD students break record on first day polls available on campus.
As reported by on the ground volunteer Don Saylor -- Today UC Davis students exceeded the number of votes cast on campus in 2004. It was the first of five days polls will be open for all students, faculty and staff to vote. Numbers to come.
Volunteers needed to table at UCD 10/27-10/31
We have a table reserved in front of the MU all week and will be informing as many students are possible about Measure W. UCD students, staff and faculty will have the opportunity to cast their votes beginning at 10am on Monday, October 27. The hours will be Monday through Friday, 10am-4pm.
