Please vote yes on W

Times are tough and I don't see the state providing any more money for our schools in the near future.  It's up to us.  Local communities such as ours are on our own.

Luckily Measure W can provide a great return with relatively little cost.  These kids, these singers, dancers, athletes, musicians and outstanding academicians respond to our support and return it many-fold.
 
Among all the tremendous support for this measure I've also seen some negative ads and letters from a handful of owners of rental/income properties.  This surprises me since this kind of funding is clearly behind what has been keeping their property values somewhat stable.  It's very clear that the reason Davis has not suffered housing price free fall is the quality of life in this community and our excellent public schools.

We need a two-thirds majority to pass this measure, so please join me in voting yes on W.
