Jeff Hudson unwittingly tripped over something that has been irking me ('Taxpayers Association gives nod to Measure W parcel tax,' Sept. 22). On numerous occasions I have had people relate the total of our community's school fundraising accomplishment as $1.7 million. It so happens that Jeff Hudson reported on May 16 that we raised $1.77 million, which if I were to round to the nearest hundred thousand dollars would be $1.8 million.

There, I got that off my chest. Now let's not allow this remarkable achievement to become simply a one-year reprieve - vote yes on Measure W.
