I have lived in Davis for 40 years. I have observed that we have always supported our children in fostering the highest quality of programs for schools and local events.

As a retired teacher and school counselor, mother, grandmother and psychotherapist, I believe it is our legacy to support the current high quality of the Davis schools by voting for Measure W. As a senior, I believe it is in our best interest to promote a high quality of life to the children who are our nation's future.

Congratulations to Dr. Elaine Kasimatis, who is being honored for her past and current contributions to teaching throughout the world. Congratulations to Davis High School for recognizing her as an example of what Davis High School can produce.
